G-SHOCK digital watch. Some G-SHOCK models come with two batteries.
The first thing you need to prepare is three tools. The screwdriver used to open and close the back cover, the plastic tweezers used to hold the battery, and the metal tweezers used to open the battery holder and for shorting.
To open the back cover, you must first remove the protector.
Since it is a Phillips screw, you will need to use a screwdriver to remove the protector. Some models do not have a protector.
After removing the protector, remove the screws on the back cover using a + screwdriver.
When you remove the back cover, there is a rubber-like thing, so when you remove it, it will look like the one on the right.
Slightly flip up the sticker attached to the battery in the center, insert the tip of the tweezers into the gap between the metal fittings, and lift up the battery holding metal fittings.The battery will come off, so pinch the battery with the tweezers and remove it. Since it is an old battery, it is OK to pinch it with metal tweezers.
Inside was a high-capacity lithium battery. The standard is CR2016 3V. You can also purchase 100 uniforms at Daiso and Seria.
Insert the battery by sandwiching it with plastic tweezers and press the battery clamp.
After replacing the battery, be sure to short-circuit the AC and negative (-) terminals.
Use the tip of metal tweezers to short-circuit AC and (-) as shown in the photo.Be sure to short-circuit the battery, otherwise it will shorten the life of the battery or cause a malfunction.
If you short circuit, attach the rubber and tighten the screw. When tightening, do not tighten all the way to the end, but only temporarily, and once you have finished tightening all four bolts, tighten again. If you tighten it all the way first, if the hole is misaligned, you will not be able to correct it, so we recommend that you temporarily tighten it.
After closing the back cover, attach the protector and you are done.
