The iconic bright yellow dial color and the aluminum bezel display board with a red/blue color-coded tachymeter scale is designed inspired by the original 1969 model. On November 16th, 1973, NASA astronaut William Pogue was holding a watch in the pocket of his spacesuit pants as he boarded the Saturn rocket. The watch was one of the world's first automatic chronograph, the Caliber 6139 Seiko's Five Sport Speed Timer series, which Seiko began selling in the spring of 1969. The vivid yellow dial, and its vivid design, which has been released almost 50 years ago, does not feel old, and still shines attractively today. Release date: Released in August 2024
