After continuing business in Paisley for about 100 years, the factory was moved to a town on the west coast. While making full use of the latest machinery and advanced techniques, we still continue to manufacture our products in our Scottish workshop, while also inheriting traditional production processes. All processes of weaving, washing, brushing, and cutting are done by hand using looms that have been in use for 100 years. The flowing feel that is unique to Scottish cashmere is achieved by gently brushing the surface of the fabric with the prickly plant teasele, creating a ripple-like pattern.
