Inspired by the reconstruction of a popular G-SHOCK model, we used clear parts to create an unprecedented sense of transparency. The case back is engraved with the 40th logo created by Eric Hayes, who also designed the G-SHOCK 25th, 30th, and 35th logos, making it a model befitting a limited edition model. *Due to the transparent material used for the LCD screen, the digital display may be difficult to see depending on the angle from which you view the watch. The band design combines different materials such as resin and metal, symbolically expressing the evolution of G-SHOCK's materials. The 12 o'clock side uses skeleton material. A composite part using fine resin pieces is combined with a urethane part that connects to the case with a slide lever. The 6 o'clock side uses stainless steel material.
