The YEMA workshop is based in the small French town of Morteau, in Haudou in the Jura massif on the Swiss border. Historical and geographical factors have enabled French watchmaking company YEMA to design its own "Maison" mechanical movement. This black and gold special edition, in partnership with Classic Racing School, has a design reminiscent of the Formula 1 Lotus team's single-seaters of the 1970s and 1980s. It features a completely redesigned PVD bronze steel case, block pushers, and dial reminiscent of a vintage race car dashboard. Date, time and chronograph functions are powered by Seiko's VK64 hybrid caliber.
