This model is equipped with the "Caliber 5X83" movement, which boasts the highest performance in Astron's history. It is the first time that Astron has a dual-time chronograph function, allowing you to simultaneously display and move the time in two different time zones. In addition, a new stopwatch has been installed in units of 1/20 second. Due to the increased number of motors, the sub-dial and main dial at the 6 o'clock position are driven simultaneously, significantly reducing the switching time between local and home times (up to 5 seconds compared to the previous 5X53), and the operability has been dramatically improved. In addition, the newly adopted flat antenna allows solar charging across the entire dial, and is equipped with a 1/20 second chronograph function that consumes a large power consumption. This movement truly symbolizes the "next-generation GPS solar" with improved accuracy, speed and multifunctionality.

Astron's first vertical layout with sub-dial arrangement brings dynamism and depth to the entire dial. The base and sub-dials are made up of different colours and textures, and the visual contrast stands out, creating a sporty and high-quality impression. The sub-dial at 9 o'clock is placed with a three-dimensional multi-indicator that emphasizes the day of the week, providing both visibility and design. The 6 o'clock position combines dual-time display and a chronograph hour and minute calculator, improving practicality. The hour and minute hands have a three-sided cut shape, giving the impression that they have been polished down to the smallest details. The second hand functions as a basic clock under normal conditions, and as a chronograph method for measuring seconds. The date display window is also designed with a dedicated day vehicle, and the round window shape blends in with the design. In addition, Lumibrite is used for the hour, minute and second hands and indexes. It ensures high visibility even in dark places, allowing for reliable display in any situation.
