Born in 1966, Bellmatic was the world's first central rotor automatic alarm watch. The mechanical alarm function, driven by Caliber 4006, a 17-jewel automatic movement, is a truly interesting mechanism that uses a small hammer to strike a curved sound spring. The ringing sound is like an alarm clock and evokes sadness. The day-date display is also practical, and the relaxed appearance that is unique to vintage watches is appealing.
