The YEMA workshop is based in the small French town of Morteau, in Haudou in the Jura massif on the Swiss border. Historical and geographical factors have enabled French watchmaking company YEMA to design its own "Maison" mechanical movement. Designed and developed in collaboration with the French Air Force, this model is powered by Seiko's VK61 hybrid caliber and features a vertical bicompax chronograph and a French Air Force logo and roundel engraved on the dial. The sub-register at 12 o'clock holds the chronograph's 60-minute timer, while the sub-register at 6 o'clock functions as a small seconds hand.
