Since the first machine (Unit 301) was imported in July 1971, it had been in operation for about half a century until March 2021. Developed with the cooperation of the Ministry of General Staff with the hope of passing on the nearly half-century history of the F-4EJ Kai Phantom 2 to future generations through wristwatches at the juncture of all aircraft being retired. The dial uses the "Phantom the Spook" mark, a symbol of the F-4EJ Kai Phantom 2, with the proud emblem of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force in the background. The airplane type number, F-4, is designed on the crown at the 4 o'clock position on the dial inner ring. The second hand reproduces the mark of the airplane displayed inside the cockpit. The back cover is engraved with "PHANTOM FOREVER", reflecting the operational period of "1971-2021" and the desire to be passed down forever. In addition, "PHANTOM" is engraved on the metal fittings that fix the belt at the 6 o'clock position. The entire watch is inspired by the F-4. The belt uses CORDURA fabric to match the coloring of the aircraft. Product number: S715M-10 Nanapure price 22,000 yen (tax included) |
