The theme of the cross-sectional project that will appear in this milestone year, 100 years since then, is “LAYERS of TIME”. Using Fujifilm Corporation's structural color ink, the dial is decorated with a design reminiscent of the beautiful interior scenes created by the Earth over time, such as geological formations and minerals. Citizen PROMASTER is an authentic sports watch that combines functionality, durability, and safety. It maintains the distinctive design and functions of a pilot's watch, as well as excellent operability and visibility, while also making use of the simple case line. For the notation of each city and the numbers on the disc, we used a classical font reminiscent of the 1600s, when the world was being developed, and we paid special attention to legibility. The matte case with a hairline effect has a sharp finish with a mirror finish on the bezel slope and push button guard. A subtle black gradation is added to the back of the dial using inkjet technology, creating a rich expression. The unified white hands and indexes serve as accents that highlight the brilliance of the structural color and add a refreshing impression. The back cover is engraved with a distinctive map layout, making this a watch that allows you to experience the sky and the earth at the same time.
