In 1924, we created our first product, a pocket watch. In this milestone year of 100 years since then, this is a limited model that challenges the new technique of indigo-dyed Japanese paper dial from The Citizen.✨ The watch features an indigo-dyed washi dial made from Tosa washi using the ``tsutsumaki shibori'' technique. By repeatedly wrapping Tosa washi paper around a cylindrical tube, folding it up in a certain direction while crinkling it, and dyeing it, we created an indigo dyed image of a sky full of clouds. This is a one-of-a-kind item, with no two having the same pattern. The gold-colored second hand is inspired by a crepuscular ray of light falling through the clouds, and the eagle spreads its wings and soars in the sky. It represents the beautiful scenery woven by nature. The CITIZEN is a high-quality watch that pursues the essence of a watch and boasts outstanding precision.
